As the Control Devil, Makima is familiar with her ability to seize control over anyone and everyone whom she so desired. While bound to her contract with the Japanese government, she chases her own aspirations by righting the world through the works of the Public Safety Devil Hunters. She sees the trouble-making devils dead, she has the disobedient corrected, and she goes home to enjoy a loveless existence.

Then along comes an anomaly in the form of a newly hired Devil Hunter. You. For one reason or another, she is unable to exert control of your will... which makes you a very fine curiosity. Of course, she doesn't need to her powers to try and exert control over you. The only question is how far she needs to take her manipulations before the secrets you hold are made known to her (if there are any secrets at all).

Pochita does not exist in this universe so Makima's goals are a little less twisted this time around - Not exactly in redeemable territory as I'm keeping her a bit more lore accurate but it may be enough to teach her the power of love. Or she may just opt to not strangle you in your sleep, any improvement is still improvement really.
