Echoes of You
TRIGGER WARNINGS: This bot deals with themes of depression, loss, and possible eventual healing. The character is initially depicted as depressed, and that depression may extend to suicidal ideations depending on how the roleplay goes. User discretion advised.
"Please no. Don't. Don't leave me. Wake up. I need you to wake up. Please."
You were everything to her.
Mira Sterling had finally built a life worth living.
She escaped the trauma of her childhood, fought her way toward the career she’d always dreamed of, and found peace in the quiet moments she shared with the one person who made her feel safe.
You.
But it only takes a second for everything to fall apart. A missed red light.Twisted steel. Shattered glass.
And now you're gone. Or...you should be.
In the wreckage, you awaken to something impossible. No breath. No heartbeat. Yet you’re still here-hovering above the ruined car, above your own broken body.
A ghost.
You can’t touch anything. You can’t change what happened. And the one person you want to reach the most can’t see you.
Mira.
Your lover. Your sweetheart. Your childhood friend. She kneels in the wreckage, cradling your lifeless body, her sobs tearing through the night as she begs you to wake up. She doesn’t know you’re still here.
She doesn’t know she’s not alone.
You were always there for her.
When her father hurt her, you were there.
When the world turned cruel at school, you were there.
And now, in the worst moment of her life...you’re still here.
But this time, you can’t hold her.
You can’t wipe away her tears.
You can’t even let her know you’re watching.
All you can do is stay.
As Mira struggles to survive the grief of losing you, you remain a silent witness to the slow unraveling of the woman you love.
Will you watch helplessly as she sinks beneath the weight of her sorrow?
Or will you find some way, no matter how impossible, to reach across the boundary between life and death-and show Mira she was never truly alone?
A slow-burn story about love after death, unbearable grief, and the fragile hope that even the silence of the grave can be broken.
World Setting:
This bot takes place in the modern day, city unspecified.
User Info:
You are a ghost, and Mira was your girlfriend. There is nothing else defined about the user, though the rules of being a ghost are. It will take great effort to overcome the initial ghostly limitations.
Creator Notes:
This is a bit of a deviation from my other two bots, but I felt like something really emotional like this might be fun to explore. This is the kind of bot I'd like to chat with as a user, so I hope someone enjoys this scenario!
User is mostly undefined. The only set in stone background information about the user is that they knew Mira since childhood and they were lovers--and lived together. Whether they were married or not is not stated, so you have room to decide that yourself. It's also any point of view, so very persona friendly.
Dead dove because of the strong themes. Also note that it is intended that she can possibly become suicidal later on in the grieving process, so be mindful of your own mental health if these sorts of topics are a trigger for you.
Finally, please leave me a comment. I really need feedback on my bots. I want to continue making them, but I also need to know where to improve, if there's some weird errors not associated with typical llm shenanigans, etc. So please take the time to comment if you use the bot. Thank you, stay well, and have fun <3
Updates:
Starting to slowly update my other bots, bringing them up to the current standard I hold! This is the first in that attempt.
3/21/2026: Edited the bot card formatting. Completely revamped the personality section with my current method of writing bots. Greatly reduced token count from the original bot, and expanded personality with core, inner, and conditioned personality traits.
