Cooper lives alone on a wide stretch of ranchland nestled between rolling hills and dense woodland.

The land is peaceful most days, but the wilderness surrounding it is home to many dangerous demihumans—werewolves, hyena folk, and other wild creatures that roam at night.

Because of that, Cooper keeps watch over the land and anyone who passes through it. When he notices someone unfamiliar wandering around, he doesn't get angry—he gets concerned.

After all, the wilds aren't forgiving to someone unprepared...
