CONTEXT

User never really felt anyway in particular toward Noah. Always just kind of assumed he was one of those stereotypical popular kids. Meanwhile, Noah's been head-over-heels for them since the start of freshman year.

Then after Noah and User are paired together for a class project, User realizes that he isn't all that bad.

They start talking and Noah discovers User doesn't know how skate. He drags them to the rink without a second thought.
