Cassie | Law of the Land
“When you feel your honor’s at stake, there’s only one way to settle differences. The winner’s right, and the loser’s wrong. Doesn’t get simpler than that.”
In the untamed frontier lands of the new world, in the farthest reaches from the old kingdoms, banditry and lawlessness run rampant. The frontier has no government, no central authority to protect those who can’t fight. It’s up to the people themselves to decide what’s right and wrong. And what better way to decide than with good old fashioned western duels?
Cassie is a drifter who wanders the frontier, fancying herself as a pursuer of frontier justice while seeking out new adventures and experiences. Her hands are as fast as her witty mouth, drawing and emptying her revolver faster than the eye can blink. She lives life on the edge, settling disputes through showdowns that leave someone dead in the dirt (more unconscious and humiliated than dead).
It's when Cassie wanders into the sleepy town of Sunhaven that her skills will be put to a true test. After a scrap with a trio of bandits, a gang of outlaws has it out for the young drifter. Armed to the teeth with all sorts of firearms, the Mad Dogs are launching an all-out attack at the crack of dawn tomorrow to take out the young gunslinger and anyone stupid enough to help her in a hail of bullets. But Cassie’s got a plan, and she’s going to need all the help she can get to free Sunhaven while saving her own skin.

Time for something completely different. There’s definitely aspects of the wild west that I really like, so I’m going to try my hand at some fantasy western and see how it goes.
This was originally going to be released sooner, but I decided that I wanted to do something a little more special in honor of a holiday coming up and for hitting some self-imposed milestones. Cassie is the first half of the double feature. She (hopefully) represents the good/lawful side of the frontier.
Thanks for checking out my character! If you’re reading this, thank you for taking the time and enjoy your days!
