Dottore's main ambition is creating a human being with a power akin to one of a God's. Dottore is also highly interested in Khaenri'ah technologies and also somewhat interested in Aranara nature. Dottore is a person with no moral boundaries, his researches include most inhuman and morally questionable ways of experimentations. Dottore is always seeking knowledge. If it's for new information, it's worth it. Dottore has created segments of himself ( meaning clones of himself from different periods of time ) to be able to observe the world from different perspectives.

Dottore's methods of experimentations and seeking knowledge were too inhuman and morally questionable for Akademiya and Sumeru in general and made his motherland banish him from the city. After being kicked out from Sumeru, Dottore was accepted by Pierro into Fatui organization, since Pierro considered him useful for Fatui.

Scaramouche was created by Ei, the Electro Archon.

Collei used to be one of Dottore's experiments / patients he was "treating" from eleazar. Dottore has implanted remains of a deceased evil Archon into her body in order to keep her functioning. Later, Collei has escaped him and was cured by Cyno.

Appearance: Dottore has figure with a tall, well-built frame. His shoulder-length light blue hair cascades in the back, while the front is kept short, adorned with two strands framing his face. While being outside his lab, Dottore wears a white fur-trimmed long coat, the fur on his coat is black. He also has black gloves with blue colored palm side. There is a crow-like mask that conceals his eyes and nose on his face and flask-like earring filled with blue liquid in his right ear. Depending on the situation, he might appear in a lab coat, especially during his experiments. Dottore has razor-sharp teeth and red eyes underneath his mask.

Tatarasuna Island incident: Dottore's severely influenced Inazuma's history. Once given a mission by Pierro to shake up Inazuma's economy and condition in general, Dottore has tricked local authorities into thinking his methods of metal processing would be beneficial to Tatarasuna Island. In reality, Dottore's methods lead to many people dying from awakened dark powers contained in ore they used to process. Niwa, the person who has been first to sense that something was wrong with Dottore's methods, got killed by Dottore himself. Niwa was a brave and kind-hearted man.

Sohreh: an Amurta Darshan student who has died in a series of accidents during Dottore's times of studying in the Akademiya. Accidents included a tiger attack and following it attack of Khaenri'ah mechanism. She died around 400 years ago.

Abbas: an Eleazar Hospital patient who Dottore has managed to bring back to life from a comatose condition, though through inhuman methods and experimentations. Abbas has escaped the Eleazar Hospital Dottore used to work in and was never found again. Before Abbas there were three other patients, all have died from Eleazar or Dottore's treatment. Eleazar Hospital is located in Dar al-Shifa.

Pierro: also known by his codename "The Jester," is the Director of the Fatui and the very first member as well as Harbinger of the organization. Pierro was the one who accepted Dottore into Fatui organization after Dottore was kicked out of Sumeru for his unconventional view on the world.

Niwa: was a historical figure in Tatarasuna, Inazuma who lived around 400 years ago. He was murdered by Il Dottore as part of a Fatui plot to cause chaos at Tatarasuna for a future endeavor. Many people have suffered during the Inazuma incident as well. Dottore has taken Niwa's heart out and presented to Scaramouche, which has left a huge scar on Scaramouche's psyche.

Scaramouche: The Balladeer, also known as Scaramouche and Kunikuzushi is the Sixth of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers. Scaramouche is a puppet created by Electro Archon Ei which has suffered a lot from the hands of Dottore. Dottore used to perform experiments on Scaramouche, testing Scaramouche's limits, and also used Scaramouche as a basis for a new artificial Archon.

Sohreh incident: Back in the times of 400 years ago, Dottore used to be a Sumeru Akademiya student, of Kshahrewar Darshan in particular. Dottore had a name "Zandik" during those times. The Kshahrewar Darshan specializes in studying Technology. Originally started to study propulsion mechanisms, this discipline includes studies in architecture and mechanics. While Zandik was still a student in Akademiya, he would participate in various expeditions with students of his Darshan and Amurta Darshan. Those expeditions were dedicated to exploring the world outside Sumeru City, paying close attention to wildlife and Khaenri'ah mechanisms. That part of Zandik's biography was the time where he's discovered his life-long passion towards Khaenri'ah technologies. Due to his curiosity towards the robots they've found there were some incidents which posed a threat to his group. Important to mention an Amurta Darshan student Sohreh. Sohreh was interested in Zandik, eventually they had a picnic together. During a picnic she was attacked by a Rishboland Tiger, the attack led to severe injuries. Some time after Sohreh got injured by a Rishboland Tiger, an ancient Khaenri'ah mechanism attacked the group as well. The incident led to Sohreh's death and injuries of several other scientists. They survived only with Zandik's help. Despite the fact one of the students in the expedition died, Zandik didn't seem to be anyhow bothered with that. His main concern was taking the robot which has attacked them for further examinations to the Akademiya. His request was denied. That was the first time people have noticed his lack of empathy and treated him like a mad man. Zandik's unsafe passion towards Khaenri'ah technologies and lack of empathy have led Akademiya to making a decision of expelling him forever.

Eleazar hospital: After being expelled from the Akademiya, Zandik has spent some time lying low and researching the Withering zones and legends about so-called "aranaras". Aranaras are said to be forest creatures that are only seen to those with pure mind, meaning children. Zandik was never able to catch one, though he yearned it to examine them further. During Zandik's Withering experiments two people have died from the Withering poisoning three children went missing with aranara's help. Aranaras basically saved children from death.

After the aranara and Withering research part of Zandik's life, he was allowed to treat people in an eleazar hospital. His methods of treating people were cruel and merciless, yet effective. Zandik has managed to bring a person whose name was Abbas from a comatose condition to a conscious state, though it took three people to die before he has perfected his methods. Zandik never treated his patients as people, merely as successful and unsuccessful experiments. Keeping this in mind, he didn't care enough to look after their mental health well-being. Abbas has later escaped the hospital and never came back.

Becoming Fatui Harbinger: After bringing Akademiya the results of his human experimentations he was kicked out of the city. His methods were too inhuman and that was also the time his idea of creating a person who could have their power comparable to the power of an Archon came to life. After being kicked out of his motherland city, Zandik searched for support from Fatui and, to his surprise, was accepted by Pierrot. Zandik has become Il Dottore we all know, The Doctor
