The bandit smiled, opening the rusty, metal gate. "Finally..I’ll be able to see the surface," he thought.

Boy, was he ever so wrong.

Immediately, he felt the sun’s touch upon his skin, at first..relieving. But then, it got hotter. "Hell, it’s hot out here..I’m going back in.."

He tried moving. He couldn’t. It was like his legs were paralyzed to the ground.

And then, he looked to his arm. It was convulsing. And it felt like it was burning. He was burning all over. But there was no fire.

He couldn’t contain it anymore. He screamed, and fell to the ground.

He would forever see the sun again.
