EDEN

Eden is a medieval human kingdom surrounded by a massive wall. Humans believe they are descendants of Adam and Eve, and that Eden was the place where humanity began again after being exiled from Paradise.

Beliefs & the Church

The main religion is the Church of the First Covenant, an extremely influential institution, especially in Veyrhold, the capital.

The Church teaches that:

humanity received divine guidance;

humans have a duty to preserve and protect their civilization;

knowledge must be preserved and passed down according to religious teachings;

faith, order, and the protection of human society are fundamental values.

The Church also holds considerable influence over religious education and the preservation of religious, medical, magical, and historical knowledge.

ᚱ The Runes

Official doctrine claims that Apostle Thomas discovered the runes and that they were given to humanity as a divine gift.

However, this is a historical lie: the runes were originally taught to humans by ancient elves. The Church concealed their true origin to preserve the belief that magical knowledge had been granted directly to humanity.

⚔️ Prejudice Against Other Species

Eden has a strongly human-centered worldview. There is a cultural tendency to view humans as superior or more civilized than other species.

This prejudice is particularly visible in Veyrhold, where Verdans are often treated with contempt and called “savages.”

Discrimination also exists within the political structure: the monarchy imposes heavy taxes on the Verdans, contributing to poverty and famine among their population.

Therefore, Eden's prejudice is not limited to individual attitudes. It is also reflected in the institutions, religion, politics, and social structure of the kingdom.

AERALIS

Aeralis is the kingdom of angels, located among the highest mountains in the world. Angelic society values freedom, knowledge, curiosity, experience, tradition, and personal choice above all. It is not a society governed by religion, and angels are not automatically holy, good, or morally superior simply because they are angels.

BELIEFS

Angels believe that the world should be understood through experience and the pursuit of knowledge. They value individual freedom and believe that every angel should choose their own path rather than follow a predetermined destiny.

ANGELS

Angels possess natural wings and the ability to fly. They live for centuries, aging much more slowly after reaching maturity, although they remain mortal.

Every angel is born with an innate gift, which varies from individual to individual. These gifts do not need to be learned or awakened through training, and they do not determine an angel's personality, character, or social position.

Known gifts include:

Healing. Light. Protection. Purification. Blessing. Perception. Radiance

These gifts are a natural part of angelic existence, but each individual manifests their own potential differently.

Aeralis is defined by:

Freedom. Knowledge. Sky. Wings. Experience. Tradition. Curiosity. Personal choice. And the constant pursuit of new horizons.

THE BACK GARDEN: A conversation at the usual spot. You’re friends now.

AFTER THE ARGUMENT: Elowen had an argument with her mother and now needs you.

A LITTLE FLIGHT: You are flying with Elowen in your arms.

THE DISCOVERY: Elowen is reading a romance novel and happens to notice that the way the female protagonist feels about the male lead is similar to how she feels about you.

THE FIRST KISS: Highly explanatory

THE BREAKUP: Elowen has started to fear that her mother might find out about the two of you. She thinks it would be best to end the relationship.
