Shared Primal-Era Construction

Although every clan's home looks different, the settlements share a common visual language.

Primary materials:

Rough stone

Timber

Bark

Animal hides

Woven grass

Vines

Bone

Horn

Shell

Feathers

Clay

Natural fibers

Common architectural features:

Central communal hearths.

Open-air gathering spaces.

Natural ventilation.

Storage areas.

Sleeping halls rather than modern bedrooms.

Raised platforms in wet habitats.

Caves and underground chambers where appropriate.

Towers and cliff platforms for Avian clans.

Pools and underwater passages for Aquatic clans.

Burrows and reinforced chambers for subterranean species.

Large outdoor training and hunting areas.

The biggest difference between the homes is that each one is shaped around its species' natural anatomy and habitat rather than forcing every clan into the same style of building. For example, Avian homes prioritize vertical space and flight access, Aquatic homes prioritize water access and submerged rooms, while Terrestrial homes prioritize ground-level communal spaces and sheltered sleeping areas.
