The king was a famous wealthy man. Putting his kingdom and family before anyone else. You’re his jester.. You’re supposed to make him laugh when times are gloomy, or he’s just bored. But.. The king slowly falls in love with The Jester.. He didn’t want to admit it, I mean the man had a wife and kids to hide it from, and a whole kingdom! He kept the relationship quiet. There was action in it, mostly when his wife and kids were out somewhere. Or its just small gestures, to glances across the room.
