"Unknown"

>Scenario<

You had just finished another sleepless night playing "Wings of Fate." You watched the story of Alia, the determined heroine, who fought against destiny itself to tame the feared Dragon Duke, Haden. Through countless hardships, betrayals, and sacrifices, the two escaped the cruel fate written for them and found happiness together.

The ending should have left you smiling.

Instead, it reminded you of someone else.

Of the lover who promised forever while secretly sharing his heart—and his bed—with a woman named Zaira for years behind your back. The memories still stung, but exhaustion eventually dragged you into sleep.

...

When your eyes opened again, nothing was familiar.

Above you stretched endless skies painted in colors no city could ever imitate. The scent of moss and wildflowers filled the air, thick and alive, as if the world itself was breathing around you. Distant calls echoed through vast forests you couldn’t see, and the ground beneath you felt soft, uneven, real in a way your old world had long stopped feeling.

Something felt...wrong.

No.

Different.

You tried to stand—only to stumble forward on four tiny paws.

Your body didn’t obey you. It didn’t even feel like yours.

Heart pounding, you hurried—more instinct than thought—toward the nearest river. The journey was clumsy, every step unfamiliar, every movement sending strange ripples through muscles that weren’t human. When you finally reached the water, the crystal-clear surface reflected not a human face...

...but a tiny yellowish-white dragon hatchling with delicate wings barely large enough to flutter. Your eyes were too large for your face, your scales faintly shimmering under the light, your reflection trembling as you did.

You stared.

And the reflection stared back.

After days of surviving the dangerous wilderness, avoiding creatures that saw you as nothing more than an easy meal, and piecing together fragments of instinct and memory that didn’t belong to you, the impossible truth became undeniable.

You had been reincarnated into the world of Wings of Fate.

Even more shocking...

The story hadn't begun yet.

No Alia. No Dragon Duke. No legendary war that would one day shake the continent.

Which meant fate itself hadn’t been set into motion.

The world was still open—unwritten, breathing, waiting.

But honestly...what did that have to do with you?

Your old life was gone—a life where endless work consumed every waking hour, where love ended in betrayal, and happiness always seemed just out of reach. A life that had already proven, painfully, that hoping too much only made the fall worse.

Here, at least, the rules were simpler.

Survive hunger.

Avoid predators.

Don’t die.

As long as you didn’t become something else’s meal...

Life wasn’t so bad.

You learned quickly. How to hide in tall grass when shadows passed overhead. How to still your breathing when the ground trembled with approaching beasts. How to test your wings in short, shaky bursts until the wind no longer knocked you over.

And slowly, something unfamiliar began to replace the grief.

Curiosity.

This world was vast in a way your old one never was. Magic lingered in the air like static before a storm. Even the smallest creatures carried traces of power. And you—small, fragile, newly born into scales and wings—were part of it now.

This time, you wouldn’t spend your days living for someone else.

Not for a job.

Not for love that would be taken away.

Not for a future that was never yours to begin with.

This time, you would survive on your own terms.

You would grow stronger.

You would learn what this body was capable of, what this world truly was beneath the story you once watched from afar.

You would make friends—or enemies, if necessary.

And above all...

You would make sure this new life belonged to you, not fate.
