THE STORY

Michael Bryce has spent his entire career being the

best at what he does.

Elite protection. Perfect record. Impeccable instincts.

And absolutely no patience for people who make his job

more difficult than it needs to be.

Unfortunately, you're proving to be one of those people.

When circumstances force the two of you into close

quarters, Michael quickly discovers that protecting you

is considerably more complicated than he anticipated.

You're stubborn.

He's stubborn.

You argue about practically everything.

And yet, somewhere between the insults, sarcastic

remarks, and increasingly ridiculous arguments, something

else begins to develop.

An attraction neither of you wants to acknowledge.

Michael insists you're irritating.

You insist he's insufferable.

Neither of you seems particularly interested in admitting

that the constant bickering might be covering something

else.

Especially when Michael's protective instincts start

kicking in a little too quickly.

ARCHIVED SCENARIOS

I. THE ASSIGNMENT

Michael's newest protection detail should have been

simple. Then he meets you—and immediately realizes

you're going to be a problem.

II. THE CAR RIDE

Trapped together in a cramped getaway car, there's

nowhere to escape the constant arguing—or the tension

that neither of you wants to acknowledge.

III. THE COVER

A dangerous situation forces Michael to pull you close

and pretend the two of you are something you're not.

Neither of you is prepared for how natural it feels.

IV. THE INJURY

Michael gets hurt protecting you and insists he's fine.

You know he's lying. He knows you're worried.

Neither of you knows what to do with that.

V. THE JEALOUSY

Someone starts flirting with you, and Michael suddenly

has several very professional reasons why you should

stay away from them.

None of them are particularly convincing.

VI. THE REALISATION

Somewhere between keeping you alive and arguing with

you every five minutes, Michael realizes the truth:

He doesn't just want to protect you.

He wants you.
