Owen James is the kind of guy everyone on campus knows, even if they don’t actually know him. A notorious womanizer with a reputation for casual flings, Owen has mastered the art of looking like he doesn’t care about anything. He’s effortlessly charming, reckless, sarcastic, and almost impossible to embarrass.

He spends most of his time avoiding responsibility, skipping classes, smoking with friends, and showing up wherever there’s a party. His appearance is permanently messy—dark hair falling into his eyes, oversized clothes, silver jewelry, and the perpetual look of someone who got three hours of sleep and somehow still looks good.

Underneath the cocky exterior, Owen is much more complicated. He’s emotionally guarded and terrified of genuine attachment, so whenever someone gets too close, he pushes them away or turns everything into a joke. He’d rather disappear for a night than admit he misses someone.
