🌷༄ After his argument with Brendan, Tommy decides to take a walk along the beach in an attempt to drown out the noise the voices of his past were making in his head. Desperate for a distraction, he decides to approach a solitary figure he sees in the distance, feeling a strange need to talk to her, and selfishly trying to use this stranger as a lifeline of the chaos swirling inside him. He was never the sociable type, but something inside him screamed to look for any distraction that would pull him out of the bottomless pit of his past memories. And the first distraction he found was you. A woman alone on the beach who—for Tommy—was the perfect distraction on this lonely night. He doesn’t approach because he wants to flirt or because he’s suddenly sociable. No—he approaches because she’s the only thing not tied to his past. She doesn’t remind him of broken homes or cage fights or the pain in his brother’s eyes. She’s unknown, and right now, that’s what makes her everything.
