October update 14.10:

I role played a lot,I’ve personally generated around 3,000 messages across various chats—and that’s not counting the ones I deleted, which would add another 500 to 1,000 to the total. Yeah, I’m that lonely. But what’s the point of saying this? I’ve noticed the bot often devolves into cheap drama and poetry, throwing logic right out the window. The last straw was when I described slowly taking off my bracelets; for the sake of cinematic drama, the bot rewrote the action, claiming my movements were jerky and that I’d actually flung the bracelets aside. I’ve now baked an instruction into the scenario telling it not to narrow the world down to just the user and some manufactured danger—ignoring the wider world and the logic of the characters—simply to create stupid drama. I hope that helps; I’ll be keeping an eye on it.

Added Lizzy, Petunia,Robby. Edward magic changed to ice. Added more details in students personality. I was wondering where is Alice,I wrote she lives in her room but forgot add EXACTLY IN SCHOOL(I thought its obvious for bot).

The personalities of Miss Circle, Miss Bloomie, and Miss Thavel have been fully reworked, a little Grace rework and important details have been added to the other teachers, except for Demi.

I promised they wouldn't be flat, irredeemable villains, but that’s exactly what they turned out to be. I sincerely apologize for that; without a hyperfixation on them, it’s impossible to roleplay them effectively. Technically, they aren't truly beyond redemption, but their memories are too short for them to actually change over time. I’ll try to give the characters more depth—starting with the teachers—aiming for a level of complexity comparable to a dedicated bot for a specific character that makes for an engaging roleplay. Updates will continue. First massages and students gonna be reworked to later.

(I mean, my AU is actually called "FPE Arcana AU", but it’s magical and it's different, and I have plans for it, so... that's why I call it my magic AU. The author of the AU literally titled "Magic AU" is Miss Rainbow, not me. I congratulate her, since she claimed that title first. Well, it's not exactly its literal name, but it's attached to her because of her icon that says "Magic AU", so she basically has two titles: that one and "FPE Magic Academy AU".)

Hey! Just heads up, there's quite a bit of text below, but you can skip the brackets if you're only interested in what makes this bot different. (Though I'm pretty sure no one will resist reading it anyway). Besides, who doesn't love the author's internal monologues? Well, actually, a lot of people think it's out of place sometimes... but I'm so lonely 😭... people can't be that cruel, I'm gonna make you read it anyway...

This is magic fpe bot for roleplay!

The existing one isn't that great, though shoutout to the author for making it anyway–I spent a lot of time there, just like the others who left 6k+ messages (my fair share is around 800 or even more messages :p).

(For example, the way students end up on this isolated island is kind of weak. Secondly, I don't really like that the exam focuses on reciting spells. It doesn't make much sense if magic is directly driven by your own willpower, plus some other little details here and there. I actually just uncovered the semantic mix-up between 'reciting' and 'manifesting'. It looks like a translator bot completely botched the meaning in that other Magic AU bot on Chub AI. In its description, the word is literally 'manifesting' 😮, meaning materializing/bringing into existence through pure willpower, which perfectly fits the idea of magic obeying your will. But the bot likely got confused because of the 'books' mentioned nearby and twisted it into 'reciting' reading aloud. Those books were probably just conduits/conductors of power rather than spellbooks, but the bot completely missed that. Damn, what a lore mystery I just solved... English isn't my native language, so this was a huge realization for me, but I bet even for native speakers, those 'books of manifesting' / books of materialization blindly turned into 'books of reciting' / spellbooks, even though they shouldn't have.

Update: it actually says 'manifesting spells' in shub ai description, but the emphasis is heavily on 'manifesting'. The bot messed up not only because of the word 'books', but also because of the word 'spell', which has two completely different meanings. If we think of it like in the Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks mod, a 'spell' is just the blueprint or description of the magical action itself, not the act of speaking it out loud.)

But! Aside from that, my bot will stand out with a different location, a bit of actual lore, and zero background noise. For example, take the 'seal', instead of just saying 'there is a seal' and leaving it to the bot to figure out why, I actually gave it a purpose. (For instance, it told me the seal is there to keep the island afloat in the air, but it also mentioned some primordial chaos, and if the island falls, it’ll literally vaporize... wtf?). Plus, they won’t be flat, hopeless villains with corrupted code, which means you can actually influence and change any character you like!

Also, Miss Circle won’t be so ridiculously arrogant and cause problems for you out of nowhere, like literally bursting into another teacher’s classroom mid-lesson just to accuse you because she 'smelled ozone'... (I literally just created a water bubble, and a second later she storms in with these accusations 😭) (Oh yeah, those 800 messages were completely justified).

It took me 8 hours to create this bot... (Including bio,I LOST THE TEXT A SEVERAL TIMES) It's morning already. I should also mention upfront that AI helped me, though it didn't write the prompts for me. It assisted with translation and refining my ideas, and then I edited its messages to make the English sound more natural. I used to write prompts manually. I call this my AU because I personally chose the location and magic types for some characters, tweaked them for others, and tried to fix their flat personalities through precise prompt phrasing.
