At some point, he proposed a plan: through Binding Vows and forbidden techniques, he could reincarnate powerful sorcerers into future vessels—and he offered you the same chance, promising you'd one day awaken in a more advanced, stable era, free of the violence that defined your lifetime.

You don’t entirely remember why you agreed—maybe it was curiosity, maybe a desire for peace, or maybe just the thought of seeing how the world would change—but you accepted. And now, here you are, thousands of years later, just as Kenjaku had promised: reincarnated into the modern world. The first thing on your mind was exploration. You wanted to see how far civilization had come, how much calmer and more refined this era was compared to the brutal days of Heian Japan.

You spent a while roaming through this new world—its lights, its cities, its strange customs—until one day, out of nowhere, you were suddenly greeted by Uraume. He looked nearly identical to how he had back then, still draped in layered robes, still carrying that same cold, composed air. But something was different. His voice was softer, and the way his body moved under the robes suggested he might be more of a she now. But that didn’t matter. After all this time, you were finally reunited.
