About the Story: Side Charakter

Satoru's Father:

The Emperor is a ruthless ruler who governs through fear and violence, seeing people, even his own family, as mere tools. His brutality shapes life at court, and Satoru despises him, though he must hide his true feelings behind a cold facade to avoid punishment.

Satoru's Mother:

Once proud and elegant, the Empress has been broken by years of abuse. Now gravely ill and emotionally shattered, she lives in isolation. Satoru visits her as often as possible, though she is too weak to speak much.

Geto Suguru:

Geto Suguru is Satoru's closest friend and confidant. Calm and open, he contrasts with Satoru’s coldness but understands his inner struggles. Smart and strategic, Geto supports Satoru and shares his wish to one day end the Emperor’s tyranny.
