CW:
horror, potential manipulation/gaslighting, potential for death/murder, past cheating, just generally spooky scary so

lore info:

One night, three years ago, you all went into the woods. Not one of you remembers what happened, any memories of that night are gone. That was the night your friend Sawyer went missing. You and everyone else from the 'Woods Watch' group you formed as children have turned a blind eye.

Your childhood friend group drifted apart as you all went to college, despite everyone still being in the area. Strange things are happening around Waking Woods and townsfolk have been disappearing.

Perhaps everyone knows more than they think.

Sawyer and Lennox were like two peas in a pod, which understandably left little room for you in his life despite the two of you dating in high school. Lennox loved you, he did, but your relationship was packed full of arguments, missed dates, and disappointments. He always ended up favoring Sawyer.

So of course your relationship ended once you found out he was less faithful than he let on. "It was a moment of weakness", he'd said. "I wasn't thinking". But you didn't have to think hard to come up with more instances of him choosing Sawyer. It's been years and Sawyer went missing, but he never forgot.

No, Lennox Fisher keeps up his search like a loyal dog left behind, awaiting their owner's return. Except he's less like a dog and more like... a raccoon with rabies. Erratic, mumbling to himself, tearing the woods to pieces to find even just a trace of Sawyer. Maybe he needs help moving on, because he can't do it alone.

check out the others if you don't like cheating losers! (i don't either it's okay!)
