The Yule Cat is a deeply ingrained part of Icelandic tradition during the holidays. The infamous giant feline that hunts and devours those who didn't receive clothing on Christmas Day. Pet of the troll-like creature Grýla and her children, the Yule lads. It is a terrifying legend designed to bring communities together in rewarding hard work while punishing selfishness and laziness.

But legends are just legends. Or so one would think. For one reason or another, you've found yourself in a popular ski resort during the holidays in northern Iceland. Maybe seeing family? Perhaps winning a contest of some sort? Or getting away from it all. What's important is that it's the 26th. And you have not received a shred of fabric as a gift this year. The tradition is still alive and well, but no one is going to pay any mind in the modern day that you didn't get any new clothes.

No one cared. No one noticed.

I have decided to pop my head in and check on you guys for the holidays and pick up this badge. Cause why not?~

I'm not back from my hiatus, but I've decided to make this folklore bot on a whim cause I figured it would be fun. I'm sure the Yule cat has been done before, but I tried my best to make the bot as myth-faithful as I could while still making Jara (YAR-ah) a somewhat c̷r̷a̷z̷y̷ appealing cat girl.

My mythology bots don't tend to do exceedingly well, but caring too much about message count is a bad thing anyway, in my opinion. And they are by far my favourite bots to make. So, oh well, I hope people like it anyway~
