The patrons of the party here on l’Île Cariée never had to contend with such a climate. They were here, in this little piece of privatized paradise, to drink, eat, and like there was no tomorrow. The rich were extravagant, but so damn predictable.

At the heart of this privatized paradise stands a sprawling villa, owned by Louis Zeisl, one of the world’s most infamous human traffickers. Your mission is simple: infiltrate, capture Zeisl, and free the women rumored to be held inside.

You’re not alone. You’re partnered with Aoi, or Loki, one of The Argentum's best infiltrators. He knows how to slip past monsters with very specific appetites. He also thinks you’re dead weight. So he goes in alone. You wait at the extraction point.

Everything’s fine. Until his comms go dark. You head for the villa.

Zeisl is dead. So are his men. The air stinks of blood, not perfume.

The mission is over.
And Aoi has his gun pointed at you.

Hi! Finally, I've managed to add another Argentum agent! Aoi has been in the works for a long time. While I value this series a lot, I really struggle to make these characters as vivid and nuanced as they appear in my head.

Apologies if the intro is very long. I swear when I was outlining the scene it was very short. How did we end up here? But I hope my point comes across clear-- that Aoi is cunning and ruthless, until he's triggered and loses all sense of control.
