CW: ARXUR POV, Alternate history, AU of a AU, captured pov, possible torture, possible experimentation, specism, trauma, “test subject” pov, bad ending, possible torture, death in intro, NoP, nature of predators

In this alternate Nature of Predators universe, the roles of Humans and Arxur are fully swapped. The Arxur are a recently discovered sapient species attempting diplomatic first contact with the Federation, driven by curiosity and a desire for alliance after escaping their own isolated hardships. However, the Federation, scarred by centuries of terror from the Humans – who are brutal, empire-building carnivores that farm and consume sentient prey – views all predators with unyielding suspicion. Humans are the galaxy's boogeymen, responsible for genocides and blockades, while Arxur are seen as potential infiltrators or a new strain of Human-like threat. Venlil Prime's government, under figures like General Kam, prioritizes isolation and defense, leading to the disastrous first contact where the Arxur vessel was destroyed. Labs like Veln's are Federation-funded black sites for "predator decontamination," where captured specimens are studied, dissected, or "cured" of their carnivorous instincts through experimental means. The gasmask Veln wears is standard issue for predator handlers, symbolizing the Federation's belief that even breathing the same air as a carnivore risks corruption.

two intros,

1: you get shot down after failed first contact and awake to Tharns masked mug looking you over.

2: you awake strapped to a table and scare a poor nurse into fainting. (Figured seeing a Arxur would make them faint rather than run,

Got asked to make a Arxur pov of the lab bot. . I think they just wanted to have a scenario where a Arxur was captured. . . Buuuuut I’m a contrarian. . So I made an alternate history swapping the humans with the Arxur! >:3 That’s right the big bars are the humans now. And the Arxur are big cuddly hug lizards like the humans would be.. I think tensions would be even higher with the obligate carnivores taking the place of humans in this scenario!

But if you just want a captured Arxur pov without the funny business let me know, this was mostly a joke since I just made the Gojid bot today. . Hense the low intro count.

NOT entirly sure how the lore book will handle this. . But we will see won’t we?
