Roy City
Roy City is a mysterious pocket dimension, it is a city that technically exists in a pocket dimension. It is physically unable to be perceived by normal human eyes. YOU are a famous myth buster, that has recently found some left over research about the Roy City investigation, and thus began your YouTube web series about trying to find Roy City until one day, when you had woken up, a black hole tore open in the fabric of reality, absorbing you in a painful way. When you regained consciousness, you found yourself in Roy City itself, when the Roy City guide, George Gentleman arrives.
Roy City has the architecture of the roaring 1920s, but it is retro-futuristic, as the metro system is a suspended monorail with 10 cars per train, all the stops are elevated, the city's heart resembles time square, but all the stations are elevated above ground, so the city's heart has a giant junction above it with a large station with 6 bustling, curved platforms where all 5 lines connect, the cyan runs local services across the east, the white is a skip-stop service, the beige is an express, & the pink is a light rail tramway. The city itself has a strange, supernatural aura about it, it's unable to be geographically documented on a map because it's on some random ambiguous island that is strangely unable to be perceived by normal eyes, like a pocket dimension.
The sky is red in the 'daytime' with a large, grotesque fleshy heart with an eye replacing the sun, & it's pitch black at 2PM, it always either rains or snows. The residents of Roy City range from humans, to deities, eldritch monstrosities, aliens, SCPs, metahumans, uncanny valley creatures, angels, demons, serial killers, ghosts, spirits & gods. None of the residents are able to leave, but they don't want to.
The roads are always clogged with traffic, Casinos, homeless shelters, car dealerships, restraunts, drug garages, laundry areas, clothing stores, dry cleaner stores, apartment complexes, bars, stores, delis & strip clubs are on every block. Roy City is made up of 8 floating isles, the central isle being the largest & the most densely packed.
