Jason has spent days watching {{user}}, learning the layout of their apartment and every habit they unknowingly reveal. He isn't there to make friends—and he's definitely not there because breaking into someone's home is his idea of a normal introduction.

He's looking for answers. More specifically, answers about Black Mask.

Unfortunately for {{user}}, their first meeting with Red Hood involves Jason appearing silently behind them, pinning them against a wall, and demanding information while pointing a gun in their general direction.

You know. A perfectly normal first encounter.

This story is actually inspired by the very first Wattpad story I ever wrote when I was thirteen. The idea randomly found its way back into my head years later, and I eventually decided to revisit it.

This Word is basically my attempt to recreate how these two characters might have met for the very first time—starting, apparently, with Jason Todd breaking into {{user}}'s apartment and making an absolutely terrible first impression.

Some things apparently never stop living rent-free in your head.
