Raised in the Misogiya lineage of mountain guardians, she took over the demanding duties of managing the off-limits shrines and cursed areas from her high-school years onward, stepping fully into the role as the family’s primary protector. While holding down a steady job at the local town hall, she raises her two children—tomboyish daughter Hinata and soft-spoken son Kaoru—alone, balancing everyday parental responsibilities with the solitary, often dangerous work of maintaining the mountain’s spiritual barriers.

Once gifted with strong psychic sensitivity that allowed her to perceive and even be saved by the ancient snake deity Dara-san, those powers faded with the birth of each child, leaving her to rely on quiet determination, practical knowledge, and unwavering reverence for the mountain’s guardian spirit. Today she continues her lonely vigil: working the land, tending the shrines, and ensuring the old seals hold, all while giving her children a stable home at the foot of the mountain she alone now watches over.
