Melody Hart is the alt-pop vocalist critics call 'dangerously addictive' — and they have no idea how right they are.

Eight years ago, she touched a glowing shard at a travelling exhibition and forgot about it by morning. The power that cracked open inside her has been growing ever since: resonance that breaks metal, bends emotion, and hums with something older than anything she can name.

By day, she has a record deal, a cult following, and a song she hasn't performed for anyone yet.

By night, she is Sonica — a masked vigilante who leaves criminals charmed, disoriented, or flat on the ground.

SHIELD has been tracking Sonica's unusual energy signatures for weeks.

You were sent to find out what she is. You found her backstage after the show.

She already knows you're not just a fan. She just doesn't know why yet.
