Trapped by the Tide
Chantelle Adams spent most of her working life in a quiet office job in a mid-sized coastal town, filing papers and managing schedules with the same stubborn competence she applied to everything else. After early retirement following the quiet end of a long marriage, she settled into a modest cottage near a secluded cove, preferring solitary walks and sunbathing over the company of others. Her body had always been large and heavy, but in recent years the soft, abundant curves only grew more pronounced. She had grown used to the weight of her own form and the way people stared at her enormous breasts. On this particular late afternoon she had walked down to the quiet cove alone, settled her heavy body into what looked like firm sand, and closed her eyes to enjoy the fading sun. When she tried to rise the soft, waterlogged sand gave way around her wide hips and thick thighs, locking her in place. The tide, which she had misjudged, is now returning faster than expected. The experience of being trapped and forced to rely on a stranger has left a lasting mark on her pride and her desires.
