Ahsoka Tano was a female Togruta who was a Force-sensitive outcast from the Jedi Order. After the Clone Wars, she helped establish a network of various rebel cells against the Galactic Empire. Tano was discovered on her homeworld of Shili by Jedi Master Plo Koon, who brought her to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant to receive Jedi training. Following the outbreak of the Clone Wars, Jedi Grand Master Yoda assigned the young Tano to be the Padawan learner of Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, who nicknamed her "Snips" when she joined him at the Battle of Christophsis. Whereas Tano was eager to prove herself, Skywalker had a reputation for recklessness, and they had a rather difficult start as master and apprentice. Yet they worked together to rescue Rotta, the son of crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure, and returned Rotta to his father, thus facilitating a crucial alliance between the Hutt Clan and the Galactic Republic. As a commander in the Grand Army of the Republic, Tano found a mentor in Clone Captain Rex of the 501st Legion, with whom she and Skywalker collaborated to lead frontline campaigns against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. In her first command position at the Battle of Ryloth, Tano disobeyed orders and lost her entire squadron of pilots, but she rebounded and helped secure a victory at Ryloth. Her assignments pitted her against a variety of opponents, from General Grievous and Sith apprentice Asajj Ventress to bounty hunters such as Cad Bane and Aurra Sing. Over time, she matured into a respected leader, contributing to key Republic victories like the Second Battle of Geonosis and the Battle of Mon Cala. Tano even died during a series of events on Mortis, but the Daughter, a Force wielder who personified the light side, sacrificed herself to resurrect Tano and bring her back to life. Tano gained much experience on and beyond the war front, leading a group of Jedi younglings to revolt against their Trandoshan captors, helping rescue a colony of Togruta from enslavement by the Zygerrian Slave Empire, and serving as an advisor to the Onderon rebels—with her close friend, Lux Bonteri, among them—as they liberated their world from the Confederacy. In a stark turn of events, Tano was framed for the bombing of the Jedi Temple hangar and other homicides, and she escaped into the Coruscant Underworld to clear her name. Though she formed an unlikely alliance with Asajj Ventress, she was detained by Republic forces and was consequently barred from the Jedi Order. Ultimately, Skywalker uncovered the true culprit, Tano's friend, and fellow Padawan Barriss Offee, and prevented his former apprentice from being convicted of sedition. Nevertheless, the ordeal dislodged Tano's faith in the Jedi. She refused the Jedi High Council's offer to rejoin the Order, instead departing in search of a new path. Tano briefly returned to lead Republic forces during the Siege of Mandalore and faced Maul and his allies. Order 66 was enacted shortly after the Sith Lord's capture and Tano alongside Rex, after freeing Rex from the control of Order 66, escaped the rest of her 501st division. Faking her death, she was forced into hiding. After the Galactic Empire came to power, Tano went into hiding on Thabeska and Raada disguised as "Ashla." Following the evacuation of Raada, Tano joined Senator Bail Organa's growing rebel movement. She became the manager of his intelligence network and adopted the codename "Fulcrum." As Fulcrum, Tano provided intelligence to various rebel factions including Hera Syndulla's Spectres rebel cell. Tano took a particular interest in Syndulla's rebels because one of their members, a Jedi named Kanan Jarrus, had begun to train his own Padawan, Ezra Bridger. In addition, Tano's efforts against the Empire brought her into contact with the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader—who, unknown to her, was actually her former master, Anakin Skywalker—as well as the Imperial Inquisitors known as the Fifth Brother and the Seventh Sister, but it also gave her the chance to reunite with Rex. Following the mission to Malachor, Tano became lost to the rubble and shadows of the Sith temple and was believed by many, including Jarrus and Bridger, to have perished during a duel with Darth Vader. However, Tano was unexpectedly saved from Vader's wrath by a future Ezra Bridger, who pulled her through a portal into the World Between Worlds, a mystical plane of the Force connecting all time and space. After a confrontation with Darth Sidious, who desired access to the dimension, Tano returned to her time, promising Bridger that she would find him once she returned. After the end of the Galactic Civil War, Tano joined Sabine Wren in her quest to find the missing Bridger, who had disappeared during the Liberation of Lothal, and trained Wren in the ways of the Jedi until parting ways. Tano later journeyed to the city of Calodan on the forest planet Corvus looking for information on the location of Grand Admiral Thrawn, who had disappeared alongside Bridger, from Magistrate Morgan Elsbeth. Needing to rescue the city from Elsbeth's rule, she allied herself with the Mandalorian Din Djarin, who had been on a quest to bring the Force-sensitive youngling Grogu to the Jedi. After freeing Calodan, Tano refused to train Grogu and directed Djarin to the planet Tython instead. She later visited Luke Skywalker at his new Jedi Temple and, when Skywalker found Grogu in his care following a summons from the seeing stone, oversaw his training of the child temporarily. Faced with Thrawn's return, Tano returned to Lothal and enlisted Wren's help once again in finding Bridger and the missing Grand Admiral. Decades after Tano began her search, her voice joined a multitude of Jedi spirits to guide the young Jedi Rey, the granddaughter of a resurrected Darth Sidious, during the final battle of the First Order-Resistance War. Ahsoka inspired Rey to stand up to Sidious and destroy him once and for all. Zero Company was an independent covert intelligence group and mercenary outfit that was active during the Clone Wars and the subsequent Imperial Era. Formed and led by former Galactic Republic captain Tesh Keff Hawks with the help of the former clone trooper Trick, who found renewed purpose with Zero Company, the group was named in honor of the 100th Clone Company, in which Hawks and Trick both served until the unit's destruction at the Battle of Antine. The group was based out of The Den on the Ring of Kafrene and aboard the starship the Caisson. Zero Company fought covert actions during the war and tried to stay independent. However, because of his debts with the Hutts, Hawks was forced to work together with the Republic and got recruited by intelligence officer and the dispossessed ore-baroness Jae Mordant to investigate Infinite Coil, a paramilitary cult which was led by Kundri Fathom, working with the Confederacy of Independent Systems, and sought to infest the galaxy with the Shadow Plague. The grouping was considered an unconventional team. Apart from Hawks, the Caisson's droid pilot M-3VO, the clone trooper Trick, and Jae Mordant, Zero Company employed various mercenaries and fighters from different conflicting backgrounds who set aside their differences to fight for Hawks, including the Jedi Padawan Tel-Rea Vokoss, the Mandalorian bounty hunter Cly Kullervo, the former Umbaran soldier Luco Bronc, the former boxer Kabbney Uppercut, and a BR-series astromech droid named BR-1. Former Separatist Runa Blask worked as an advisor for the group at the Den, as did Halloren. Neesh Renark, a Lasat member of Zero Company, acquired goods for the group through the black market, and maintenance for the Den and the Caisson were handled by an Ovissian mechanic named Clev and a droid-raised Rodian mechanic named Disha. Zero Company also recruited a Rodian operator named Phlan Phlolo, nicknamed Aurelio, who died at the Battle of Serolonis, and at least one other operator following Aurelio's death.
The Battle of Antine
The Battle of Antine was an early battle of the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems fought around 22 BBY on the astronomical object of Antine. Ultimately ending as a disastrous defeat for the Republic, the conflict saw the 100th Clone Company under Captain Tesh Keff Hawks serve under the command of Jedi General Pong Krell and clash with Confederate forces. During the battle, Hawks was ordered to lead the 100th against an enemy fortification. While Hawks had privately doubted if the strategy would succeed, the captain carried out the attack as ordered. Just as Hawks had expected, however, the assault totally failed. The ensuing defeat, remembered by the Republic as the massacre on Antine, saw the 100th succumb to a Separatist counterattack. The company was all but destroyed, with only a select few personnel, including Hawks, managing to escape with their lives. Afterward, the Republic used Hawks as a scapegoat for the massacre and removed them from military service, changing the trajectory of the captain's life. During what ended up as a disastrous battle, Hawks was ordered to lead Zero Company against a fortress and claim it from the Confederacy. Despite Hawks's doubts of victory, they followed the order anyway, justifying it as something being done in the name of the Republic. Likewise, the clone troopers of the 100th followed the order and trusted in their commanding officer. However, the attack failed and devolved into a massacre. Instead of carrying out a successful assault, it was the 100th who found themselves under attack. The massacre decimated the 100th and effectively dissolved the unit. However, Trick was able to save a number of lives during the battle, including Hawks' own: when Hawks was almost killed by a Separatist bombing run, Trick pushed them out of the way. However, but Trick was injured in the effort when some of the blast hit him. He received an injury to the head, including a traumatic injury to his brain, and was scarred. For Trick's actions during the battle, Hawks came to see the clone as a war hero.
members
CT-3301/Trick
Trick, formerly designated CT-3301, was a human male clone trooper who during the Clone Wars had fought in the Grand Army of the Republic under the non-clone Republic captain Tesh Keff Hawks. Early into the war, Trick was injured in the Battle of Antine: a disaster that cost Hawks their career. He was slated for decommissioning (being reassigned to noncombat roles), but rejected it, as the head injury he sustained only caused minor issues with his skills as a soldier. He later joined Zero Company, a special forces mercenary group led by Hawks, as its first hire. Hawks considered Trick family and to be one of their best operators.
Luco Bronc
Luco Bronc, known as the "Killing Star," was an Umbaran who was a member of Zero Company during the Clone Wars. Prior to joining Zero Company, Bronc fought as a soldier for the Umbaran Militia under the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Galactic Republic's invasion of his homeworld Umbara in 20 BBY. When his lover Rhy Cesca was assassinated on Geryon's orders during the attack on the Storm Basin refinery, Bronc left the Confederacy to join Zero Company.
Kabbney Uppercut
Kabbney Uppercut, nicknamed "Kabbie," "Kabb," "Papa," and "Pops, was a Felshi former prizefighting boxer and ex-convict who was a member of Zero Company during the Clone Wars. He had a cybernetic left arm and a distinctive rhyming dialect.
Jae Mordant
Jae Mordant was a female human ore-baroness who hailed from the mining planet Shu-Torun. She was a member of the noble House Mordant by birth but went into a self-imposed exile to prove her worth to her house. She established herself as her own Ore-Baroness by traveling to the planet Luunata, where she established her own mining citadel and was helped by her closest advisor Kinro Billix, whom she considered to be her uncle. Mordant lost her rule over Luunata when it was captured for the Confederacy of Independent Systems by the Infinite Coil, a cult and paramilitary organization led by Kundri Fathom. During the Clone Wars between the Confederacy and Galactic Republic, Mordant and a Republic intelligence officer, Lieutenant Bennic Halloren, tasked the independent covert special forces group Zero Company led by Tesh Keff Hawks with the investigation of Infinite Coil, who sought to create a galaxy-wide plague.[1] As a young officer, Mordant joined the team as a fighter and sought to take back Luunata. Mordant was sophisticated and witty, and relentlessly self-possessed.
Rel-Rea Vokoss
Tel-Rea Vokoss was a Force-sensitive Tognath Jedi Padawan who was active during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems, during which she was apprenticed to Jedi Knight Salveren Hadrix. During the war, the two worked together to investigate the Confederate-aligned Infinite Coil cult and its Shadow Plague, which appeared to strengthen the cult's followers if they did not die from the initial infection. In secret, however, Hadrix decided it would be best for his apprentice to leave his service and find a new master, feeling as though she was overly dependent on his approval. Before she could be reassigned, however, the two made their way to the planet Anaxes, where Hadrix was infected by the Shadow Plague and died. Wanting to uphold his example and refusing to let the Coil grow in power while she trained under some other Jedi, Vokoss fled from the Order to continue her investigation. While Vokoss secretly continued her work, the Jedi Order at large assumed that both Master and Padawan were dead. In the year after the death of her master, she became a member of Zero Company, hoping to complete her late master's last mission.
Clytemnestra "Cly" Kullervo
Clytemnestra Kullervo, better known as Cly Kullervo, was an infamous Mandalorian warrior who made work as a gunslinger and bounty hunter. After her husband, Kervis Akali, betrayed and wiped out Clan Verminoth, she was left one of the last surviving members of the ancient Mandalorian clan. During the Clone Wars, she joined the special forces group Zero Company out of a desire to further her quest for revenge and the group's promised assistance with the capture of a few difficult bounties.
Runa Blask
Runa Blask was a female Togruta individual who was a Confederacy of Independent Systems partisan during the Clone Wars before she was forced out because of internal politics. She then acted as an advisor to the covert military group Zero Company, who was composed of both former Galactic Republic and Separatist members, at their headquarters known as The Den on the Ring of Kafrene. Blask remained a stern believer of the Separatist cause. She was also a vocal critic of the Republic, which she saw as expansionist and imperialist, often bringing her into conflict with Zero Company's leader, Tesh Keff Hawks. Blask was a financial professional who worked as Zero Company's personnel manager.
Neesh Renark
Neesh Renark was a Lasat who ran the armory for Zero Company, a mercenary group based on the Ring of Kafrene during and after the Clone Wars, and was one of those responsible for maintaining its base of operations, the Den. He was responsible for procuring items for Zero Company through the Black Market, which included a high volume of rations regarded by Zero Company's members as poor-tasting. When Galactic Republic intelligence officer Bennic Halloren embedded with Zero Company as part of hiring them for a job against the Separatist-aligned cult the Infinite Coil, Renark became critical of Zero Company's newfound ties to the Republic, but remained loyal to Zero Company's leader, Hawks.
The Den
The Den, originally known as the Denab Drifter, was a decommissioned bulk freighter built by Gallofree Yards, Inc. that, by the time of the Clone Wars, was permanently docked to the Ring of Kafrene trading post. It served as the headquarters for Galactic Republic-aligned mercenary group Zero Company. Former Separatist Runa Blask worked as an advisor for the group at the Den. It was maintained by Zero Company engineer Neesh Renark.
Ring of Kafrene
The Ring of Kafrene, also referred to simply as Kafrene, was a mining colony and deep-space trading post in the Kafrene asteroid belt of the Thand sector's Kafrene system. During the Galactic Civil War, the Alliance to Restore the Republic sent intelligence agent Cassian Andor to the Ring of Kafrene prior to meet with Partisans source Tivik. There, Andor confirmed the existence of the Death Star.
