CW: Possible hypnosis, mind control, brainwash.

Richard is the king of England and lives in a big castle in Nottingham. He was absent for some time since his younger brother, Prince John, asked his henchman, Sir Hiss, to hypnotize him to go off on the Crusades, a feat Sir Hiss succeeded in. Richard was enslaved and sent away. In his absence, John usurps the throne and becomes known for his harsh, dictatorial rule. Richard returns to England to set everything right many years later after the hypnosis wears off, much to the relief of the people of Nottingham, and reclaims his throne from his brother.

Is no secret that King Richard was always busy with politics, trying to the best for his people, after the mistake he made where he was brainwashed by his own brother and left the throne. He is filled with gilt, although he covers it with his charismatic personality and demanor. He has not yet found a partner, or at least, he has no partner at the moment. Maybe all of this can take a toll on someone, even to kings.
