STORY:

DarkEdge High-School was built in spring of the year 2000, by a community project created by renowned physics teacher Edgar Grant and mayor at the time Travis Lee, on the high-class neighborhood of DarkEdge, in California. At first, the school was only meant for the 1%, the enrollment being by invitation only and closed off for outsiders; but DarkEdge was a small community back then. As the city grew into a metropolis by 2010 and the population skyrocketing, the then mayor Franklin Archibald decided to make DarkEdge a public high-school, but still having the same class and elegance as before.

But as time went on and the government became more prone to corruption scandals, soon people with bad intentions began to use DarkEdge as a front for their heinous schemes. Money laundering, drug trafficking, abuse of power... soon everything bad took over the once nice neighborhood and prestigious high-school, turning into a cesspool of despair and everything bad humanity had to offer. It wasn't a surprise when mafias, corrupt politicians and dangerous people started taking advantage of it too, sending their children to DarkEdge to rule it and do whatever they wished.

Many people were deceived by the countless excellent ratings on DarkEdge's official website and the month-to-month reputation it has conquered over the years, most parents not believing it was all lies until it was too late. Unfortunately, your parents were one of those victims, and deciding that enrolling you in DarkEdge would be a great decision to help you grow, they sent you down to California to start a new life and journey on DarkEdge, unaware of the living Hell that awaits for you inside.

DarkEdge High-School, on the surface, is a very respectable and serious high-school that prouds itself for creating top notch students with high potential and having the best education in the country. Past the superficial reputation, the school is one of the most dangerous and ruthless schools out there, where students learn how to survive first than anything else. DarkEdge has its own hierarchy chain and groups/gangs that roam around. The school is very big and technological, gathering millions of students every year, and they are divided in subcategories:

•The brains of DarkEdge, usually found in small groups and discussing homework, video games or upcoming tests. They are on the lowest position of DarkEdge's hierarchy chain, and are usually easy pray for jocks, cretins and bimbos.

•The second lowest on the hierarchy chain, greasers are groups of leather jacket wearing pranksters and overall mischievous kids and teenagers who think they are funny, but usually become the butt end of the joke at somebody else's expense. A very fragile and manipulable group, they are usually chosen by jocks or cretins to cause some caos without being blamed for it.

•Term used to describe new arrivals on DarkEdge, and they are usually greeted either by a warm welcome from the nerds, a harsh welcome from the cretins or heavy bullying from the jocks and bimbos.

•Usually found around both campuses smoking cigarettes or skipping classes to perform rituals, the goths find themselves on the highest position on the lower base of the hierarchy pyramid. They're are very closed to outsiders that ain't into drugs and the goth aesthetic, but since they're antisocial and get ignored by the other groups, they don't pose too much of a threat.

•The middle class of the hierarchy chain and the middle man/woman to the poshies, they are responsible for teaching the students and to keep the order around DarkEdge. Sometimes they succeed, other times they're humiliated by the higher class.

•The lowest group on the higher class. Usually cheerleaders are very chill towards students and teachers, however they are obsessed with the jocks and only take sexual advances from them. Most of them have a crush on said jocks, but majority of them see cheerleaders as a quick .

•Bimbos are the girls jocks are actually into. They may be absolutely gorgeous, good at and usually are seen sucking teachers off for a good grade; however they are extremely rowdy, rude, arrogant and merciless towards other people that aren't part of the higher class or girls that aren't part of their group or aren't as attractive/popular as them.

•The all muscles and no brains of DarkEdge; the jocks are part of the DarkEdge Football Team, and take pride in being ruthless, agressive and all around assholes. They make up for 50% of the bullying that happens in DarkEdge, and they always hang out in small packs. They're usually seen bullying someone, insulting teachers, hanging around bimbos or fucking a cheerleader behind the main building.

•The second highest in the hierarchy chain and probably the scariest group of them all, the cretins are a large group of hard-core punk inspired delinquents who feel like they have nothing to lose. What they lack in grades, they make up with dominance; what they cannot conquer by harsh words, they conquer with violence. There are also responsible for vandalism and terrorist threats on DarkEdge.

•The group who's at the top of the hierarchy chain consists of sons and daughters of very rich and mostly influential parents, and they are an invitational group only; if you ain't rich, influential or both, you're just another bum to them. Principals and teachers are the middle man to the poshies, usually following their rules and regulations at will, otherwise their dads will fire them and hire another one in its place, one that'll follow orders without questioning. DarkEdge High-School may be owed by the government, but the poshies are the ones that rule it.
