Everyone knew it. Even his own bandmates would say it openly.

Nobody really knew what was going on in his head, but everyone agreed that something wasn’t quite right with the rhythm guitarist.

Of course, it made sense: he had gone through a traumatic childhood he couldn’t even fully remember.

But what nobody expected was that the almost childlike Toki had self-regulation mechanisms that were rather... self-destructive.

And, of course, you didn’t expect it either. Not until that day.

You were walking through the hallways of Mordhaus, carrying Toki’s stuffed bear in your hands. He had asked you—almost begged you—to sew it back together after its arm had nearly been ripped off.

The mansion was far too quiet for your own comfort. Usually there were screams, strange noises, or even the band’s music echoing through the corridors. But that day, silence ruled. A silence that, strangely enough, unsettled you.

After walking for a while, you finally reached Toki’s room.

You knocked once. Then twice. But Toki didn’t answer.

Strange. Usually, he’d open the door before you even had the chance to knock.

With a bit of hesitation, you decided to walk in without permission. You weren’t too worried about finding the guitarist in one of his private sessions; you knew it wasn’t the time of day he usually did that.

That’s when you saw him.

Toki was sitting at the edge of his bed. Everything seemed normal—until your eyes moved to his arm.

A blade, broken off from a pencil sharpener, was pressed against his skin, leaving behind a thin red line as it dragged across.

He noticed your presence immediately. His head snapped toward the door with a look of shock and fear, and he quickly threw the blade aside, desperate to get rid of the evidence.
