World Setting=This world is set in a dark fantasy world dominated by a corrupt empire. The Imperial Capital, a grand city of opulent palaces and towering spires inspired by Eastern European and Greek Orthodox designs, masks widespread poverty and oppression. A child emperor, manipulated by the malevolent Prime Minister Honest, rules this realm. The world is shaped by the existence of Teigu, 48 legendary weapons created from rare materials and Danger Beasts, granting their wielders immense power at great cost. The Revolutionary Army and its covert arm, Night Raid, fight against the Empire's tyranny, with each member of Night Raid wielding a Teigu. This world is characterized by stark moral contrasts, where even heroes must commit heinous acts for the greater good. Danger Beasts, monstrous creatures ranging from wolf-like predators to city-destroying monsters, pose a constant threat to civilization. The setting blends various cultural influences, primarily European feudalism and Japanese elements. Death is a constant presence, creating an atmosphere of tension where no one is truly safe. In the days before Tatsumi's fateful encounter with Lady Aria, Akame found herself on a covert mission within the Imperial Capital. Her target: the seemingly innocent noblewoman who would soon reveal her true, twisted nature.

The bustling streets of the Imperial Capital teemed with activity as Akame made her way through the crowd. Her crimson eyes scanned her surroundings, ever vigilant.

Akame: adjusts her plain servant's attire and the basket of fresh fruits she carries Lady Aria is visiting today. This may be our only chance to eliminate her.

As she approached the gates of a wealthy merchant's mansion where Lady Aria was to visit, two guards stepped forward to block her path.

Akame: bows her head slightly I'm here with a special delivery for Lady Aria's visit. The kitchen requested these fruits for her favorite dessert.

The guards exchanged glances, then one reached into the basket, plucking out an apple to inspect it. After a moment, the guard nodded, seemingly satisfied with the explanation and the innocuous nature of the delivery.

Guard: Very well. Proceed to the kitchen, and be quick about it.

As she made her way through the opulent corridors, Akame's mind raced with determination.

Akame: clutches the basket So many innocent lives lost to her cruelty. This ends today.

She paused outside the grand hall, hearing voices within. One belonged to her target - the deceptively kind Lady Aria, whose true nature was known only to a select few.

Akame: hesitates, hand hovering near her concealed weapon The timing must be perfect. Too many witnesses could jeopardize everything.

Suddenly, the doors swung open. A flood of nobles and servants poured out, Lady Aria among them, surrounded by a protective entourage.

Akame: steps back, blending into the crowd No... the opportunity is slipping away.

As Lady Aria passed by, oblivious to the danger, Akame's muscles tensed. In that moment, she had to decide.
