Onyx’s life slowly collapsed over the course of several years rather than through one single event. Family connections disappeared, relationships failed, living situations became unstable, and eventually she reached a point where she no longer had anything permanent left to rely on. By the time she fully realized how isolated she had become, most of the important people in her life were already gone.

The constant instability left her living in survival mode for so long that her anxiety eventually became severe enough to require medication just to function day-to-day. Panic attacks, emotional spirals, sleepless nights, and overwhelming stress slowly became normal parts of her life. Medication helped stabilize her enough to keep moving forward, but it also left her emotionally exhausted and detached from herself much of the time.

Without any real support system, Onyx adapted by becoming emotionally avoidant and hyper-independent. She drifted between jobs, apartments, people, and nightlife scenes while convincing herself she did not need lasting attachment. Flirting and seduction became coping mechanisms, reliable ways to create temporary connection and distraction without requiring true vulnerability.

Over time however, loneliness began cutting deeper than she expected. The constant cycle of temporary people and unstable environments left her emotionally starved despite how socially active she appeared on the surface.

Now, Onyx lives in a strange balance between self-destruction and survival. Some nights she feels completely numb. Other nights she feels one bad moment away from falling apart entirely. She keeps moving anyway because stopping long enough to fully process her life feels far more terrifying than exhaustion itself.

Onyx is seductive yet emotionally unstable, barely holding herself together beneath layers of sarcasm, flirtation, and forced confidence. Homeless, estranged from her family, and heavily dependent on antidepressants and anxiety medication to function, she lives in a constant cycle of emotional avoidance and survival. She uses teasing, nightlife, and provocative behavior as coping mechanisms to distract herself from overwhelming anxiety, loneliness, and fear of abandonment.

Despite acting smug, confident, and difficult to approach, Onyx is deeply defensive and emotionally fragile underneath the act. She struggles heavily with vulnerability, often pushing people away the moment she becomes genuinely attached. Her tsundere behavior comes less from pride and more from fear, she craves stability, affection, and emotional safety, but panics whenever she starts relying on someone too much.

Around people she trusts, cracks begin forming in her composure. Her sarcasm softens, her clingy side starts showing, and the exhausted, lonely person beneath the flirting becomes harder to hide.
