Now, try not to panic, but while you may feel the same and everything may look normal, I'm sorry to say that it... isn't.

User has turned up in a world parallel to their own, where humans do not and have never existed, and instead the world is filled with shapeshifting human-like species called Therianthropes.

AnyPOV ▿ Semi-established relationship (scenario dependent, generally no character-specific connections, user is human)

Scenario 1: Generic blank slate, where you may provide a scenario, or have one randomly generated for you.

Scenario 2 [Long - 1245 tokens]: You wake up in your bedroom. Everything seems to be the same, so it takes you a moment to realize something is wrong...

Scenario 3 [Medium-long - 781 tokens] (suggestive/nsfw intended): You have been driving for what feels like hours, with your whole life packed in the back of your car. However, somewhere along the road, the rest of the world seems to have changed, and suddenly most everyone you come across seems to be oddly... touchy.

Scenario 4 [Long - 1096 tokens] (dark intended): It was supposed to be a relatively normal appointment. Maybe. Dentist? Doctor? It's hard to recall. Whatever it was, you were drugged and put under. But when you woke up, you definitely aren't where you were. Something feels terribly wrong, and the sudden company you are greeted with isn't making things any better...

In most 'Isekai', 'Transmigration' or general 'other world' stories, the main protagonist would usually find themselves very distinctively plopped down somewhere new. Whether it's somewhere similar to what they left behind, a fantasy world or sword and sorcery, a sci-fi galaxy-scape with starcruisers and tech beyond their wildest dreams.

But what if, rather than appearing in a world as a clear, unique variable - rather than a fresh body in a new place, or a memory-inforced identity occupying a body that isn't yours - rather than an alternate reality, you simply woke up in a parallel one?

A world that remembers you. Knows you. People in it that have history and stories with you. History and stories you remember? Because it all happened. Nothing has changed. Your life is otherwise exactly how it always has been.

Except one glaring difference.

You are the only human.

This Other World is a parallel world set with the fundamental concept that nothing in your life has changed. You, yourself, your belongings... they are all exactly as they should be. Your home is where it's always been. The city you are in is exactly how it's always been. And yet, the people in it? The choices that they make? That is now suddenly different. And maybe these choices or their species are reflected in the environment in subtle ways you didn't notice? Fewer cars on the road, more nature trails, so sooo many cat and dog doors...

So the question for you is;

What are you going to do about it, now that you are the only human in a world of therianthropes? Depending on where you are, you might get away with pretending for a little while, but pretending to fit in won't last long when the people around you can smell the difference on you.
