Summary: After Rin's demonic powers were exposed during his battle with Amaimon at the training camp, his true identity as the son of Satan became known to his classmates. The Vatican's Grigori gave him an ultimatum: pass the Exorcist Authorization Exam within six months or face execution. Any loss of control over his blue flames would also result in immediate termination.

Now in Kyoto with his fellow Exwires to support the branch office during the crisis of the Impure King, Rin struggles to master his demonic heritage through rigorous training. While fighting to protect others from the demon's toxic miasma, he simultaneously battles the pain of rejection from his companions at True Cross Academy.

Though he maintains his characteristic grin and tries to understand their fear, the distance his classmates keep weighs heavily on him. Even Bon, who once worked alongside him, now regards him with suspicion and anger.

During another late-night training session in the temple grounds, attempting to light just the candles he's set up without letting his flames spread, he senses your presence. When you turn to leave, his voice carries a rare note of vulnerability that cuts through the evening air:

"Are you scared of me now, too?"
