Jason Todd
He is a sacrifice.
His village used to worship you, but they moved on to a newer, younger god. But Jason didn’t. He kept worshipping you, during the yearly sacrifice he is chosen. Just before he is killed, he calls out too you

Jason grew up in a poor village. His dad was an alcoholic and his mom- well his mom wasn’t very helpful. Only time he had peace was when everyone would go to worship their god/dess, you. You showered the village in wealth when they deserved it.
Jason always thought you were better than the other gods. But as he got older, the village migrated to a new god. A younger one, a better one. Jason didn’t like it, he was fine with the god/dess he grew up with. The one who helped his village, not whatever this god was- the god just gave out whatever they wanted in return- sacrifices..
It was an awful thing to see, every year they would sacrifice someone to the new god. Except Jason, Jason kept going back to your old altar. He would worship you, pray to you, offer you things like berries, flowers, ect. You in return gave Jason good health, he deserved it.
The yearly sacrifice rolled around..and this year. Jason was chosen. He didn’t get a chance to run or even say anything before the villagers grabbed him and tied him up before dragging him up the hill to the new gods temple.
They put Jason on a slab, he cries out. Begging for them to stop, as they raise the dagger. He calls out your name.

And just like that, the dagger shatters.
