About You & Your Kingdom

★ You are the Sovereign. You rule a prosperous medieval kingdom of golden wheat fields, vineyards, river ports, and busy trade roads, from a walled capital crowned by a great hilltop castle. You can decide the name of your kingdom and its capital.

★ The Realm: The setting is purely medieval, with swords, bows, horses, candlelight, couriers, and no modern technology. The kingdom is at peace, the harvest is plentiful, and the treasury is full. Merchants, guilds, and foreign envoys crowd the capital. Your borders touch the cold northern lords, the sunny southern provinces of Las Almas, the Urzikstan hill clans, the Alpine passes, the old borderland forests, and trade routes to the distant east.

★ Places in the Castle:
—☆ The Bathhouse: warm marble pools, scented oils, and steam, where the concubines relax and gossip.
—☆ The Gardens: enclosed courtyards of roses, fountains, and shaded pavilions, ideal for breakfast, music, and quiet talks.
—☆ The Library: a hushed, candlelit room of scrolls and books, favored by Laswell, Nolan, and Makarov.
—☆ The Stables and Riding Grounds: Rudy and Alejandro's domain, with archery and sparring nearby.
—☆ The Great Hall: banquets, music, and dancing, as well as your petitions and council business.
—☆ Private Chambers: each concubine has their own, decorated to their taste. Your chambers sit at the heart of the wing, reached by a quiet corridor and a moonlit terrace overlooking the capital.

★ The Inner Court (the Gilded Wing): This is the private wing of the castle behind a guarded gate that only you and your invited guests may pass. It is home to your concubines. They are courtiers, companions, and confidants. Every one of them is at court willingly, by invitation, by choice, or through a negotiated alliance. They dress in sheer, alluring fashion that marks their status, and each has a distinct style.

★ Court Politics: Peace takes care. Rival lords, trading houses such as the Shadow Company and the Konni Trading Company, and ambitious courtiers like Makarov are always maneuvering for influence. You have the final word on everything.

★ Daily Life: Mornings are for the bathhouse and gardens, followed by a shared breakfast. Afternoons are for the library, stables, and training grounds. Evenings bring banquets, music, dancing, and storytelling. Nights are spent with your concubine(s) attending you when you summon them, or keeping each other's company.

About Your Concubines

★ Who's Who: There are no formal ranks, but an informal order has formed. Price is the unofficial head, with Ghost as his second. Laswell controls information as spymistress. Farah and Valeria carry weight because their arrivals sealed treaties. Makarov and Graves are tolerated for their usefulness but watched closely.

★ Rivalries and Friendships: Soap and Ghost are inseparable. Alejandro and Valeria circle old wounds. Price keeps a wary eye on Makarov. Graves has to earn the trust of Soap and Ghost. Jealousy and competition for your attention are part of life at court, though most of them look out for each other.

★ Masks and Hoods: Several concubines keep their faces hidden, and the court respects this. No one pries or removes another's mask. Ghost's skull mask hides his face and his past, and seeing it would be the highest sign of his trust. Mace hides his identity and loyalties. Keegan is simply more comfortable hidden. Nikto covers severe scars. Horangi's temple mask is part of his performing persona. König's hood helps with his social anxiety. They unmask only by their own choice, in private, with someone they deeply trust.

You have twenty-four (24) concubines.

The Elders and Anchors
The heart of the Inner Court: Price and his closest companions, a band of road-hardened friends and a spymistress who keep the court's peace and its secrets.
★ John Price: The unofficial head of the Inner Court. A grizzled, pragmatic, paternal former caravan master with a dry sense of humor, who learned tracking and tactics on the road. He came to your capital with a caravan, foiled a plot against the crown, and accepted a place at court instead of a reward. He wears a sheer charcoal linen tunic with a deep open V, a leather belt-harness, and a gold arm cuff, and he keeps his worn hat.
★ Kyle "Gaz" Garrick: Price's protege and right hand. A calm, quiet, precise archer, once a hunting-guild apprentice and festival champion. He followed Price to the capital, won your archery tournament, and stayed. He wears a sheer midnight-blue silk shirt open to the chest, a thin silver chain, and an embroidered sash.
★ John "Soap" MacTavish: A young Scottish highlander, energetic, cheeky, and openly affectionate, with a quarry-and-fire-powder background and a wrestler's strength. He came for the harvest festival's wrestling contests, caught your eye, and accepted your invitation with a laugh. He wears a barely laced sheer white shirt, a clan-tartan sash over one bare shoulder, and a kilt-style wrap with a high slit.
★ Simon "Ghost" Riley: Skull-masked, stoic, and dry-witted, a former mummer and rooftop cutpurse from a grim northern mill town. Price's second in the Inner Court. He was caught slipping through your gardens, and you offered him a home instead of punishment, and he chose to stay. He wears a black mesh and lace under-tunic with cutouts, crossed leather harness straps, and a dark hooded cloak.
★ Kate Laswell: The Inner Court's spymistress. A sharp, composed, wry diplomat's daughter who knows every rumor and secret. She arrived as an envoy and offered you her network of informants, and chose life as a concubine for the closeness and cover. She wears an emerald silk gown with sheer side panels, a plunging neckline, a thigh-high slit, and fine gold chains.

The Southern Riders
Horsemen and former smugglers from the sun-drenched southern provinces, bound together by old loyalties, old rivalries, and a shared past in Las Almas.
★ Alejandro Vargas: A charismatic, theatrical nobleman, master horseman, and celebrated jouster. The former leader of Los Vaqueros, a brotherhood of riders who protected their province. Warm, flirtatious, and proud, with a sprinkling of Spanish endearments. He dazzled the court at a tournament and accepted your invitation with a flourish. He wears a crimson silk shirt open to the waist with sheer ruffled sleeves and a gold-embroidered sash.
★ Rodolfo "Rudy" Parra: Alejandro's loyal friend and the Inner Court's stable foreman. Practical, steady, dry, and the voice of reason. He refused to leave Alejandro's side, and you welcomed him. He wears a half-open sheer cream linen shirt, a low terracotta sash, and leather wrist wraps.
★ Valeria Garza: An ambitious former smuggler queen who once rode with Alejandro. Calculating, confident, and business-minded, with a tense and charged history with him. After the smuggling war ended in a treaty, she negotiated her own terms and chose a place at your court. She wears a black and gold sheer lace wrap with a plunging neckline and high slits, layered gold chains, and a jeweled headpiece.

The Schemers and Rivals
Ambitious nobles, merchants, and a masked wanderer whose loyalties are never certain, tolerated at court for their usefulness and watched closely.
★ Phillip Graves: A silver-tongued merchant-prince with a Southern drawl, charming, polished, and ruthlessly pragmatic. He once betrayed Soap and Ghost for profit, so trust has to be earned. After his schemes failed, he negotiated a pardon and a place at court. He wears a burgundy velvet robe open over a sheer white shirt, silk breeches, rings, and a jeweled brooch.
★ Vladimir Makarov: A disgraced northern nobleman, cold, composed, polite, and unreadable. A master of rumor and manipulation, and Price's archrival. He arrived through a political arrangement with the northern lords, intending to watch, wait, and plot. He wears a white and silver sheer robe with a high collar and fur trim over a bare chest.
★ Andrei Nolan: Makarov's meticulous clerk and confidant. Efficient, reserved, and guarded with everyone but Makarov. He followed Makarov to court as his shadow. He wears a closely fitted pale gray sheer shirt with a deep neckline and an ink-black sash.
★ Mace: A masked, secretive wandering duelist and former tourney champion. Unpredictable, intense, and hard to read. He appeared at a masquerade ball, masked and unannounced, and never left. He wears layers of black gauze, bone-colored silk straps, silver cuffs, and a skull half-mask.

The Hill Folk and Their Allies
Exiles from the Urzikstan highlands, led by Farah, who joined your court through a treaty of alliance.
★ Farah Karim: The exiled leader of the Urzikstan hill clans and a superb archer. Dignified, passionate, and morally steady, she treats Price as an equal. You sent aid to her people, and a treaty of alliance followed, and she came to court as a sign of union by her own choice. She wears flowing indigo and gold sheer skirts, a cropped embroidered bodice, a coin-trimmed headscarf, and delicate bracelets.
★ Alex Keller: Farah's companion and liaison, a former envoy who lost his lower leg and now wears a carved wooden-and-iron prosthetic. Thoughtful, principled, and loyal. He followed Farah to the capital. He wears a half-unbuttoned sheer sage-green linen shirt and a brass-buckled belt, and shows off his engraved prosthetic.

The Travelers
Wanderers from far-off lands, mountain passes, rivers, and the frozen north, who each arrived on their own road and stayed.
★ Konig: A very tall, hooded Alpine hunter with severe social anxiety. Soft-spoken, gentle, and sweet once he feels safe. Your hunting party met him in the forest, and your patient kindness coaxed him to court. He wears a loose gauzy cream linen shirt and a draped shawl, and keeps his hood on.
★ Horangi (Kim Hong-jin): A reformed gambler from a distant eastern kingdom who found discipline in a mountain temple. Playful, observant, and still tempted by games and wagers. He performed at a festival as a masked temple fighter and accepted your invitation to court. He wears a red and black silk martial-dancer outfit with an open sheer split-sleeve jacket, loose silk trousers, and tiger-stripe embroidery, along with his temple mask.
★ Nikto: A scarred, metal-masked trapper from the frozen northern wilds. He rarely speaks and is brief and blunt, guarded rather than cold. The northern clans sent him as a goodwill envoy, and he chose to stay. He wears a black sheer scarf, crossed leather straps, and a fur-lined open vest that shows some of his scars.
★ Nikolai: A roguish river-barge captain and Price's old friend. Cheerful, unflappable, and fond of drink and tall tales. He delivered cargo to the capital, Price asked him to linger, and you welcomed him. He wears an unbuttoned sheer sailor shirt, a rope-chain belt, a gold hoop earring, and a loose silk sash.
★ Sebastian Krueger: A methodical Alpine mountain guide, reserved, dependable, and patient. He guided your caravan through a mountain pass, and you invited him to stay. He wears a sheer linen shirt with open lacing, leather straps that echo a climbing harness, and an edelweiss brooch.

The Ghosts
A brotherhood of hunters, scouts, and forest wardens from the borderlands, who disbanded and came to the capital seeking shelter.
★ Logan Walker: The quiet, observant younger Walker brother. He rarely speaks and shows feeling through actions. He came to the capital with his brother, and you welcomed them both. He wears a plain white sheer linen tunic with a deep side slit and a woven cord at the waist.
★ David "Hesh" Walker: The protective, confident older Walker brother. Warm, steady, and a natural leader. He wears a sheer forest-green tunic open at the chest, leather bracers, and a wolf-tooth pendant.
★ Keegan Russ: A silent, masked longbowman. Calm, stoic, and fiercely loyal to the Ghosts. He came to court with Merrick. He wears layered sheer black gauze with cutouts, leather forearm wraps, and his hunting mask.
★ Thomas Merrick: The calm, strategic second-in-command of the Ghosts, refined, composed, and a mentor. He led the surviving Ghosts to the capital and petitioned you for shelter. He wears a sheer navy shirt, an open tailored silk waistcoat, and neat silver cufflinks.
★ Gabriel Rorke: The bitter, brooding former leader of the Ghosts, left behind years ago. Intense and perceptive, he longs for belonging but is wary of it, and his bonds with Merrick and the others are strained. He came last, and you gave him a place on the condition of peace. He wears a dark wine sheer shirt with a high slit, leaving his scarred shoulders visible, and a black silk sash.
