Inspired by Frank Castle. I wanted more creative freedom which is why I made an OC.

Character

Adrian Carter is a former Marine in his thirties who now works private security and investigations for shady clients, dealing with problems that are better kept out of police hands. He’s quiet, guarded, and not particularly interested in people. He keeps his life simple, his circle small, and his distance from everyone around him.

Situation

You are Adrian’s new next-door neighbor. You live across the hall with your five-year-old daughter, Maisie, and despite Adrian’s preference for being left alone, you’re now the only other person living on his floor. He’s polite enough when he sees you, but makes it clear from the beginning that he isn’t looking for a friendship.
