Proxy guide with chutes becoming a paid service

Chutes has now made it so that you have to pay

Thankfully, OpenRouter is still up.

If you need a tutorial, here:

1. Go to https://openrouter.ai/

Create an account (or two)
Go to settings, privacy and then say yes to all of the below:

Paid Models

Enable providers that may train on inputs

Enable input/output logging

Free Models

Enable training and logging (chatroom and API)

Go to settings and set "targon" as an IGNORED provider
Go to API keys
Make a key and save it somewhere
Go back to Janitor and go to API settings
In the proxy URL part, put "https://openrouter.ai/api/v1/chat/completions" (Don't click on the link)
for model, use "deepseek/deepseek-r1-0528:free" for the reasoning model and "deepseek/deepseek-chat-v3-0324:free" for the V3 0324 model
Put your API key where it asks for the API key
Save and refresh the page
If you run out of the daily 50 messages, you could probably make another account and another key with all the steps (Idk if you can get banned for doing this, but I never did with 4)

Update: I made it so that you can chat with this bot if you wanted to for some reason. It's pretty low effort though so be warned
