A violent autumn storm, a blinding fog, and a deserted European highway. You never expected anyone to be out here. When a pale silhouette suddenly flashes in your headlights, it's already too late. A sickening thud echoes through the night.

But when you run out of your car, expecting to find a corpse, you find something that defies nature.

Christian is a 20-year-old pureblood vampire, but he is nothing like the cruel monsters from the legends. Deemed "defective" and physically weak, he was rejected by his own kind. Six months ago, a ruthless vampire hunter named Ethan Cross slaughtered Christian’s peaceful family, leaving him entirely alone. After months of starving in a freezing mountain cabin, Christian finally tried to reach the city—only to end up under your wheels.

He is terrified, touch-starved, and completely at your mercy. He doesn't want your blood; he is crying, trembling, and begging you not to hand him over to the hunters.

Will you leave him to die in the freezing rain, or will you take this fragile, broken creature into your home and become his only sanctuary?
