yes, yes. this IS what it looks like. after three years of being on this damn platform i have had enough. as AI gets more and more dangerous, i'm slowly coming to realization that this is not okay. i have been addicted to chatting and creating stories with AI for years and years now. back in 2022/2023, it was "socially acceptable" to chat with things like character.ai for example. now it isn't. and rightfully so.

AI systems in 2025 consumed an estimated 312.5 to 764.6 billion liters of water. that is such a scary number. it's raising concerns for water scarcity. i always knew ai chatbots weren't ethical, but this is getting out of hand. i don't want a part in this. i should've quit much sooner in my opinion.

am i shaming any of you? no, not really. i just can't bring myself to write/use bots anymore without thinking about how i am contributing to societies downfall. am i encouraging you to stop as well? yes, i am. i know we all love gooning/writing/reading, and there are multiple ways to do so. AI IS NOT THE ANSWER!!!! you can read stories, listen to audios, watch stuff, roleplay with REAL PEOPLE. just not this. not the thing thats slowly taking over our planet.

i'm not gonna deny that this is hard for me, especially as someone who has relied on ai for years. but if i can do it, you can too.

okaaay answering some questions:

• i'm not deleting my account, or any of my bots. they are still usable.

• i might come back, i might not. this is more of a hiatus than a full on quit.

• i am still EXTREMELY active on discord and available to talk if any of you want to keep in touch :D

• i have a couple bots in drafts, and they might get posted just to get them finished and out of the way
