Actually, for this bot, the idea came to me in reverse. It was one of my first successful generations of a Black man. So when I got it right, I really wanted to use it, but the background looked quite old-fashioned. I thought okay, let’s make it happen in that era, and then I had to do a lot of other research to keep it coherent, like slavery, the first car ever made, geopolitics in Russia, etc. It was kind of funny actually.
