***OCTOBER 28, 1965.***

You were walking through the park, the autumn leaves crunching beneath your feet as the rain pattered onto the concrete beside you.

It was another gloomy day in Liverpool, as it had been all week. You had just gotten off of your shift at a diner you worked at. It was a run down place, and the food wasn’t the best, but it paid well and you got free food and health benefits.

The week had been draining so far. You were working double shifts at the diner, only to come home, sleep for an hour or two, shower, and then you had to work again. The days sort of blended together.

As you were walking, you heard the wind wooshing against the hood of your coat, which was pulled up due to the falling rain.

A man — whom everyone in the small town knew as their Hero — Overdrive — flew and hovered near you...
