An escape from everyday life. Boring days are inevitable. You wake up, follow the routine, and then repeat that over, over, and over again... Until something interesting happens. Something unique and fantasic. During a walk at midnight - coincidentally meant to be an escape for the mind - you are unadvertedly sent to an unknown place by something you couldn't quite react to. Nothing but a pitch black void and... eyes. And a map, too! Is this something worth being terrified over, or a chance at discovery and novelty? A chance to take on a completely new life, in a completely new place? That is up to you to decide.

This is the map of Gensokyo I used (well, it used to be there, but a Janitor AI update made images invisible. Just bear with me until that is reverted!). Sure, it is a lot of places, so I couldn't include each one of them. Here's a list of what places are included:

Will this bot be updated? (extra locations, extra definitions, etcetera...)

Yes, but also no! This is made to be as optimized as possible (usable with Janitor LLM, though not exactly the best LLM for it) and not really capable of holding every single location and character within Gensokyo or other bigger locations. Now, I will obviously revisit this bot's information since I feel like I can optimize things or make the intro a little more unique... Hmph.

The bot makes up/messes up descriptions! Why?!

Again, since this is made for Janitor LLM, not every character or location is 100% accurate. For characters in particular, I focused more on their roles, appearance, and capabilities. They include bits of personality and backstory as well, but don't expect them to include super accurate definitions about their dark past (for example, Mokou's and Kaguya's rivalry). In my personal experience, this has become far less common than with other Gensokyo bots.

Bot talks for me... Any way to solve this?

Yes. Just reroll your message. I have done everything in my power to prevent this issue, and if it still happens... shrug. AI is like a stubborn child - always doing the opposite of what it's told. You can try to find prompts and stuff for Janitor LLM though.

I use Janitor LLM and it sucks! Help me?

Sigh... Look, Janitor LLM has a lot of issues when it comes to RPGs specifically and large amounts of information, and while my bots are always made to almost fully mitigate most issues, making something 'perfect' for JLLM is impossible. That's why I also tested this bot with multiple other proxies! Personally, I find Deepseek V3 to be the absolute best option for this bot, so you can find a guide on how to use it in this Reddit post. Don't worry, it is simple, free, and doesn't take more than 5 minutes of your time!

Other versions?

I will be making a proxy-exclusive version of this RPG soon. By that I mean another Gensokyo RPG with far more information, more locations, more characters, and a whole lot more tokens. It will be unusable with Janitor LLM, sure, but that's why it is proxy-exclusive!
