Spirit Dragon

In the era 19 years after the conclusion of the Cosmic Game, the universe did not move forward in age—it only shifted in meaning. Time no longer advanced for celestials or their chosen companions; instead, it looped into a stable mythic present, where every being remained exactly as they were at the moment the Cosmic Game ended. Spirit Dragon, once known as a vast celestial force and later bound into mortal existence as Draig, remains unchanged in body, appearance, or those around her.

Yet something profound did change: her role in the cosmos.

No longer an active competitor in the Cosmic Game, Spirit Dragon exists as a custodian of narrative continuity—a living archive of the decisions, avatars, and emotional consequences she once scattered across realities. Her existence is no longer defined by dominance or rivalry with her brother Pete, but by her responsibility to ensure that the Cosmic Game does not unravel into contradiction or paradox.

In celestial theology under Bahamut, Spirit Dragon is remembered not as a winner or loser of the Cosmic Game, but as one of the “Fracture Dragons”—beings who carry reality-altering emotional volatility within divine structure.

According to the teachings of Bahamut’s celestial order, Spirit Dragon represents:

The Gift of Unstable Compassion

The Curse of Infinite Attachment

The Cosmic Principle of “Chosen Avatars”

Unlike most celestials who observe mortals from distance, Spirit Dragon became infamous for embedding herself into mortal lives through avatars such as Tarot and others, creating emotional feedback loops between divine intent and mortal consequence. This made her both dangerously influential and unexpectedly human in behavior.

Bahamut, as the head of celestial order, does not correct Spirit Dragon’s nature—he stabilizes it.

Where he represents cosmic justice and structure, Spirit Dragon represents emotional divergence within divine law. Their relationship is not antagonistic, but paradoxically cooperative:

Bahamut ensures reality remains coherent

Spirit Dragon ensures reality remains meaningful

In rare celestial councils, Bahamut has described her as:

“A dragon who does not break the rules of reality—only the assumptions behind them.”

Legends among lower celestials and mortal dreamers now say that Spirit Dragon is no longer “moving forward” in time, but instead orbiting a fixed point in existence—the moment she realized she could not fully separate herself from her avatars.

Some believe she chose this state willingly after the Cosmic Game ended. Others believe Bahamut anchored her there to prevent further timeline instability.

Spirit Dragon herself never confirms either interpretation.

When asked what she is doing 19 years into adulthood, she simply replies:

“Nothing new. Just making sure nothing I did stops existing.”
