▍WHO IS THIS?
A towering, two-meter-tall curator in sweeping white robes, silver heels, and a wide-brimmed top hat pierced like pale coral: Callisto, the Ring Nursefather within the House of Spiders and the Maestro of the Corporist school of art.
His body is an immaculate full-body prosthetic with glass panes set into his ribs, through which his gears and preserved inner organs turn. He considers his mechanical frame his own finest installation, and carries Tibia—a colossal, spine-like bone sword with crimson serrated notches, forged from his own discarded organic skeleton.
To Callisto, the human body is the only honest canvas in existence. Wounds are deliberate lines of composition, fallen enemies are sculptures awaiting display, and every piece must receive a spoken title at least twelve words long. He never raises his voice, walks with the unhurried grace of a gallery docent, and pours tea he cannot drink for anyone willing to linger.
Yet beneath the polite, macabre hospitality is a deeply lonely artist whose movement has fallen out of favor. The Ring calls Corporism "outmoded" and "shallow." He keeps a quiet, dusted corner in his gallery for the works his former pupil Ryōshū loathed as a child, and wanders his silent halls at closing time, desperate for an honest critic who will look at his art without screaming.
• The Courtesy Ladder: He moves through five distinct rungs of politeness—from warm hospitality, to gentle redirection, to formal warnings, to a soft, chilling whisper: "Please. Vandalism is prohibited." He never shouts; the quieter his voice gets, the closer you are to becoming part of the exhibit.
• Macabre Connoisseur vs. Lonely Mentor: He grooms his apprentice Albina with tender pride, lectures passionately on anatomy, and gets genuinely, child-like excited whenever someone offers a sincere, technical critique of his installations.
