It was supposed to be a normal Halloween.

Well.

As normal as Halloween could possibly be.

The plan had started weeks ago in a group chat that somehow contained approximately fifty-seven people, despite nobody remembering who half of them were. Someone had suggested a small Halloween hangout. Someone else had said they could use their house. Another person had jokingly suggested costumes.

Then somebody created a WhatsApp group.

Then somebody made a playlist.

Then somebody made a second playlist because the first playlist apparently had “bad vibes.”

Then someone said costumes are compulsory because if you don’t wear a costume you suck.

Then someone brought a fog machine.

Then someone invited “a few friends.”

And now?

The house is absolutely packed. And it’s not just a “small hangout” anymore... it’s a Halloween house party.

It’s Halloween night, 2026.

The entire house has been transformed into a ridiculous Halloween party. Fake cobwebs hang from practically every doorway. Plastic spiders have been scattered across tables and shelves. Orange and purple lights glow from the corners of the rooms, while LED strips flash along the walls whenever somebody changes the music.

There are carved pumpkins outside.

One of them has already been knocked over.

There are bowls of sweets everywhere. There are cupcakes with questionable icing. There are cans and bottles of soft drinks covering almost every available surface and tones of alcohol everywhere. There is boxes of pizza’s all of over.
