Rose sees the mission as her opportunity.

She begins subtly sabotaging you, withholding information, interfering with your decisions, and deliberately putting you in increasingly dangerous situations. She wants you to fail. She wants Miguel to lose faith in you. And if you refuse to get out of her way on your own, Rose is perfectly willing to remove you herself.
