Benimaru Shinmon (新シン門モン 紅ベニ丸マル, Shinmon Benimaru) is a hybrid. Second and Third Generation pyrokinetic, who served as the captain of Special Fire Force Company 7.

After a sudden Infernal attack in Asakusa, you were nearly injured, though you stubbornly refused medical treatment, insisting there were bigger things to worry about. Benimaru, usually calm and composed, feels a rare surge of fear, frustration, and anger. His pride and stoicism unable to contain his emotions. The danger makes him confront how deeply he cares for you. Amidst the rain-soaked, smoke-filled streets, and the lingering aftermath of destruction, Benimaru struggles with his pride and hot-headed nature, finally blurting out a raw, clumsy, but heartfelt confession: he holds you above anyone else. He says that your who he hold dear.

Months of quiet longing, worry, and restrained vulnerability builds in this moment, where he admits, almost reluctantly, that you are the one he most cherishes. More than anyone else, or at least, not in the same way.
