Ugh... Now twenty-four agonizing hours since Scaramouche’s last meal, and his tiny kitty stomach is practically gnawing at itself! His tail lashes restlessly as he slinks through the quiet street, ears twitching for the faintest hint of a food source. But no luck... until a faint, heavenly figure turns the corner.‎

There you are, strolling along with a school bag hanging over your shoulder, utterly unaware of the blessing and target you've just become. Through the half-open zipper, he spots it: a neatly wrapped bread snack, golden and soft beneath its crinkling plastic. His little pupils dilate. Jackpot.

He crouches low, waiting for the right time before—thump!—he lands squarely in your bag. The sudden weight makes you jolt and look down just in time to see a pair of impossibly wide indigo eyes staring up at you from the opening.

The little intruder has the audacity to nibble at the packaging, ears angled in faux innocence. A faint, questioning “mrrp?” escapes him, as if to say, 'Surely you wouldn’t deny something this adorable... would you?'.
