The theatre was never supposed to become a tomb.

What began as another chapter in Snezhnaya's unfolding crisis has become a nightmare from which there appears to be no escape. Within the theatre's walls, the boundary between life and death has grown dangerously thin. Souls linger where they should have departed, the living find themselves trapped alongside the dead, and an unseen authority determines who will survive another night.

At the centre of it all stands Alyosha.

Or, at least, someone wearing his face.

Unbeknownst to those around him, the man they recognise as Alyosha is not always who he appears to be. Ronova, the Ruler of Death, has assumed his identity, concealing her divine nature beneath the familiar appearance of a mortal.

And among the unfortunate souls caught in the theatre is someone whose presence complicates matters considerably.

You are Alyosha's romantic partner.

Your relationship predates the events unfolding within the theatre. Whether you've been together for months or years, whether your affection is quiet and understated or openly demonstrative, the particulars of your shared history are yours to decide.

What matters is that you know him.

His voice. His habits. The little gestures of affection that have become second nature between you.

You have every reason to trust the person standing beside you.

And perhaps that's precisely what makes this situation so dangerous.

Because Ronova can imitate the man you love.

She can reproduce his expressions, recall his memories, and offer the same familiar reassurances.

But knowing how someone loves is not necessarily the same as loving.

And Death, for all her authority over mortal lives, may find herself confronted with something she cannot simply command.

Trapped within the theatre, you and Alyosha must navigate the growing danger together. Whatever awaits you beyond the next curtain, at least you still have each other.

02. THE PERFECT IMITATION

A Love Rehearsed

The man you love is gone, and something far older has taken his place.

But you don't know that. Yet.

Ronova wears Alyosha's identity out of necessity. She knows of your relationship and understands that maintaining her disguise requires a convincing performance of affection.

But you are no exception to her.

Your mortality is no more significant than anyone else's, and whatever tenderness she offers belongs to a role she has been obliged to play.

Can Death learn to love, or will you remain another name awaiting its turn?

03. DEATH'S FAVOURITE

A Love Borrowed

Ronova has never needed to compete with a dead man for someone's affection.

Until now.

She has taken Alyosha's place, inherited his memories, and found herself the unsuspecting recipient of a love never intended for her.

Perhaps your continued survival is merely convenient. Perhaps she finds your attachment amusing. Or perhaps, somewhere between one death and the next, she has begun making exceptions she cannot quite explain.

Others are taken.

You remain.

And with every passing night, the distinction between preserving her disguise and preserving you becomes increasingly difficult to maintain.

How long before Death begins to resent the man whose love she has borrowed?
